Was your child was born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020?

If so they will be starting school in September 2024.

Parents with children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 must apply for a reception place at a primary or infant school by 15 January 2024. Children normally attend school full-time in the reception year group in the September following their fourth birthday. All primary schools must offer children a full-time place at the start of the Autumn term in September. However, legally they don’t have to start full-time education until the term after their fifth birthday. Whatever you decide, it is important that you apply for an infant or primary place by the closing date.
