Online learning using 'Seesaw'
Throughout the lockdown and school closure, our staff and children have been working hard on Seesaw, an online learning app. Teachers have set work every day, including English and Maths, as well as some fun, topic-based learning activities too. You can see some of the children's home learning plans on the class pages.
Teachers have been online throughout the day to check on children's work and to comment on their work, using the app. We have recorded and uploaded videos of collective worship assemblies twice a week and we have even still had our weekly celebration assembly- the teachers have nominated children to receive the Head Teacher's Award each week. We have strived to keep as many of our routines as possible.
Parents have been able to safely collect new reading books and exchange old ones, as well as get any resources they may need for supporting their children at home with their learning, in our regular Monday 'Swap Shop'.
Below, you will see a music video that some of our children put together during the lockdown, as well as a message from Mrs Damant, our Acting Head Teacher.
We will be adding some 'virtual' displays of work that the children have done over this time, very soon. Keep an eye out!

Thank you to our super singers: Eva, Imogen, Hebe, Grace, Emilia, Bea, Tati, Millie and Iso.
We are in this together and let's look forward to being reunited soon.
