The School Day

8.40am - 8:55am - Children arrive and wait on the playground with an adult. Any children arriving after this time need to enter school via the front door and will be marked as late. 

8:40am - 8:55am - Children arrive at school

8.55am - Bell rings on the playground and children enter school

8:55am - 9:00am - Register

9:05am - 9:30am - Phonics / spellings / handwriting / mental maths

9:20am - 10:45am - Session 1

10:45am - 11:00am – Break

11:00am – 12noon - Session 2 

12:00pm - 1:00pm - Lunch

1:00pm – 3:00pm - Afternoon session

3.00pm - Collective Worship 

3:20pm - Home time
